| Supplemental Information: | In May 2008, Ronald Fleming, interim director of UCI’s Parking & Transportation Services, asked Central Specialties Ltd., an Illinois-based leader in the stroller-vending industry, to consider modifying its proven self-service system to handle bicycles. The partnership led to a state-of-the-art bike-sharing system called ZotWheels. Located at four stations around the UCI campus, the bicycles will provide a convenient, green alternative to cars. Welcome kits will be available to the first 250 ZotWheels members. |
